IN SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINE

Hunger, wounds, suffering, loneliness and fear. A big tragedy for people and animals in Ukraine. We do not watch blindly - but act. Join us and help the victims of this tragedy!

About us in a nutshell:

 

Fundacja Benek (Animal Foundation Benek) is a non-profit organization in Poland.

We have been active for 11 years and have rescued over 1900 animals during these years. We run occupational therapy workshops in 31 centers, and in our center in Szewce we also offer hippotherapy, onotherapy and educational activities. We do not hire staff but do all the work ourselves or with the support of our wonderful volunteers.

We cannot remain indifferent in the face of the drama taking place across our eastern border for people and animals. We transport food and relief supplies to animal shelters in Ukraine (e.g. in Kharkiv) and on the way back we take animals and people fleeing the war with us. Several transports are already behind us – we travel to Ukraine on average once a week since the war broke out. Please join us. Together we can help more!

WE ARE ALREADY PREPARING THE SIXTH TRANSPORT OF FOOD FOR KHARKOV, WHICH IS SCHEDULED TO LEAVE ON 12 APRIL. A TRUCK AND AN ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE WITH TRAILER WILL BE ON SITE. WE NEED FOOD AND BANDAGES. PLEASE HELP TO FILL THE CARS.

We ask for all possible support for the animals. They need practically everything. Food (dry and wet food for dogs and cats), medicines for injured and sick animals and bandages. We also ask for food packages for Caretakers, who were left behind with the animals. They have only us.

The most urgent items needed at the moment are:
1. transport boxes for dogs and cats
2. collars, leashes, muzzles
3. special food for cats with kidney and urinary stones.
4. deworming for dogs and cats and anti-flea medication.
5. incontinence pads
