Urgent! We will drive on Wednesday (2. 03. 2022) to a dog shelter in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
We urgently need food for dogs and cats (wet and dry) as much as possible. The dogs in this shelter are starving. We ask for your help.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
An Animal shelter from Kharkiv asks us for help. Their situation is dramatic. They don’t have any animal feed. Due to the ongoing fighting, the shops are closed. Sometimes there is also a lack of water. You can hear shots and bomb explosions. We offered to evacuate the animals to Poland, but as long as the city is under fire, evacuation is impossible. Nevertheless, we are determined to help them as much as possible. We are launching an urgent fundraising campaign for the purchase and supply of food for their animals and possible evacuations if the situation in the city permits.
Below we enclose the SMS correspondence with the Animal Shelter in Kharkiv and also the English translation:

Ladies and Gentlemen,
An unimaginable drama of people and animals is unfolding before our eyes. The war we are experiencing is taking a terrible toll, taking homes, health, and many lives. Thousands of people are fleeing from aggression and seeking refuge in Poland. Thousands of animals need our help. We’ve been at the Hrebenne border crossing
for hours. We have come there with the gifts you have given us. We brought food for adults and children, bandages, and hygiene products. We brought water, clothes, blankets, animal feed. We help people and animals. We give them away what we have, and buy locally the things that are still needed. We organize transport to places that we have already prepared to allocate these people and their animals. We also organize transport from Ukraine to Poland.
We do our best to help everyone. But for that, we need help from you. They need you – People and animals for whom life has become a living hell. Poland has simplified the procedures for transporting animals across the border so that we can help hundreds of them, but we urgently need your support. The costs are enormous – paying drivers, fuel, and even buying essential items is expensive. We ask for your support with all our hearts, these people and animals need us like never before.

We are constantly collecting in our Center in „Szewce” donations and goods for the people on the border. You can send them to us or deliver them directly to the border crossing.
